Snow Covers the Northern Alps

On the morning of October 28, 2026, the Karasawa Hutte and Enzanso webcams captured snowy scenery. White mountain slopes and snow around the hut mark the transition from autumn to winter.

Snow in Karasawa Cirque

The Karasawa Hutte webcam shows a light covering of snow on the rocky walls and slopes of the cirque, as well as the rocks and vegetation in the foreground. The scene looks very different from the autumn colors earlier in the season.

A White Morning at Enzanso

At 7:00 a.m., fog hid the distant mountains at Enzanso, but the ground, benches, and branches in the foreground were white. The scene offers another glimpse of winter arriving in the Northern Alps.
